DENTIST

Upon graduation Dr. Jimmie Powell began practicing in Wilmington, NC. Although he loved the weather by the beach, he was ready to move back to the Piedmont Triad area and has been practicing general dentistry in High Point, NC. Upon finishing dental school Dr. Powell has made it a priority to continue to expand his knowledge of dentistry and oral health. He is currently working on becoming a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry which requires over 500 hours of advanced education. Dr. Powell has also started his journey of becoming a Pankey dentist.

Dr. Powell loves caring for his patients with a calm and welcoming demeanor. He prides himself on being a professional while also acknowledging the humanity of his patients. His love for dentistry and ability to communicate allows him to educate patients and allow them to make the best possible decisions about their oral health. His goal is to comprehensively treat patients and provide the most effective treatments to improve oral health.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jimmie Powell enjoys spending time with his goldendoodle, Jet. He is an avid North Carolina sports fan (in particular the Tarheels, Panthers, and Hurricanes) but also enjoys cheering on his brothers who both play football for West Point. His interests include trying out new technology, listening to music, watching sports, traveling with friends, and spending time with family. He is excited to join our office and have the opportunity meet you and help your dental needs.
